Belly Dance Basics is about authentically connecting with yourself through the joyous, healing movements of belly dance. Learn foundational belly dance moves and combinations so you can build grace, strength, self confidence, and discover more of the potential within yourself.
Perfect for beginners and also for continuing dancers who want to refine their basics.
Even though I offer this class by the month, I recommend that you take multiple sessions to really learn and feel comfortable with belly dance movements.

I have been taking Annya’s wonderful online belly dancing classes for the last 8 weeks from all the way across the world in Singapore. The classes really make me happy, as I get to learn and practice belly dancing from the comfort of my home with Annya, who is a patient, talented, and just wonderful teacher.
Annya teaches belly dancing in easily digestible steps, and she is very encouraging for beginners like me. I also love the follow up videos that she sends after the class. They are a great recap and practice, if we like to do some additional belly dancing in between classes.
Annya is light hearted and also humorous in the way she teaches, and it is a joy to participate in her classes. Thank you, Annya, for bringing your classes online!!
Your classes are WONDERFUL! I really love your pacing, knowledge and attention to detail and how much you obviously care about making sure that people have the info they need to succeed.
Refund Policy
If after the first class you are not happy with it, contact me within 48 hours and I will refund for the remaining classes.
There are no make-up classes or refunds for missed online classes. However if you do happen to miss an online class, I am usually able to send you a link for a streaming recording of the class, which is available for a few days. Please contact me as soon as possible if you miss a class so that I can send you the recording link. If you don’t contact me, I may not know that you weren’t in class and that you need a streaming link. AND, the link is only available for a few days. If you wait too long to contact me, it won’t be available for your access.
Please note that full class recordings are not included as a regular feature of online class series unless specifically stated. I offer class recordings as a courtesy only under the circumstances described above. It is the student’s responsibility to know when class is happening and to be present online at the appointed time.
